The furnaces of the model series AK with useful chamber size 30 – 600 liters as well as KK-U with useful chamber size 40 - 350 liters with max. temperatures of 950 °C are equipped with a strong circulation blower. Due to the circulation blower a fast warming a uniform temperature distribution is reached. AK and KK-U furnaces of LHT are used for annealing, tempering and glowing. Special sizes up to several cubic meters of useful chamber are possible. Additive Manufacturing (Rapid Prototyping, Rapid Tooling, 3D printing): Especially smaller sizes like AK 30 and AK 40 are used for annealing of additive manufactured parts by 3-D printers. The optional gas purging and housing of the outer insulation layers enable an extensive elimination of a scaling.
For sensitive materials the annealing and tempering is carried out in protective gas furnaces.
Therefore LHT protective gas furnaces of the model series VMK-S, useful chamber 2,6 – 15 liters and KS-S, useful chamber 70 – 460 liters are suitable. In both model series you can work up to temperatures above 1050 °C with protective gas. Mainly it is held under forming gas with hydrogen content < 5 % and with oxidation-sensitive building components with 100 % hydrogen or cracked gas. For latter the furnaces will be equipped with standard options gassing unit, burning-off device and safety package.
The optimization of production lines it is often necessary to work in continuous furnaces. Linn manufactures therefore small and medium size continuous belt furnaces up to 1150 °C.
